Access Control Services Ltd.
Established in 1979, the Company was initially set up to provide
an installation and consultancy service within the emerging Card Access
sector of the UK Security Industry. Distributing and installing third
party products formed the basis of the business until 1986, when it
was decided that the Company would concentrate on the manufacturing
of systems. In 1987 the PLAN system was officially launched,
since which time, the product range has consistently gained market share
in its target market and is in use throughout the UK with many major
organisations. In April 2002 the Company was incorporated after 21 successful
years trading as a partnership.
Company activity now focuses on the equally important tasks of
manufacturing and development - as well as sales and technical support
for our distributor/installer network.
THE FUTURE:... Since
it was launched, a key market for PLAN systems has been the Banking/Financial
arena, in which the product has been widely implemented for the protection
and monitoring of HQ buildings, Cash and Data Centres. It is our intention
to use the experience we have gained in providing solutions for some
of the most demanding organisations in the world, in expanding our sales
into the general corporate and commercial markets.
... to this end we are keen
to expand our distributor base by the appointment of key installers
operating at various levels within the industry. Any installer coming
to us with new projects will receive an unrivalled degree of assistance
through every stage of the project - from tender response to final completion.
