For
pure Access Control, the PLAN200 series offers a degree of sophistication
to end users unrivalled in the price range... with technological
developments that are derived from our leading PLAN400 series products,
the PLAN200 is an ideal choice for smaller systems that require integrity
at an affordable price.
In stand alone mode, the PLAN200
is a truly self-contained control system for 2 readers... day to
day programming and even history review can be carried out at the
panel using the built in user interface.
Programming is extremely simple,
using only 4 keys and a large easy to follow 4-line LCD text display.
Intuitive 'card+' and 'learn' modes allow an operator to add new
cards quickly and easily. Each card can be given a 'valid' time period
for each reader, outside of which, the card will be denied access.
Lost cards are simply voided from the system using the keypad and
display prompts.
System events are time stamped
and stored for later analysis. Historical events can be reviewed
on the built in LCD, downloaded to a standard PC or printed using
a compatible serial printer.
An installed system can be configured
to control either two independent doors, or, a single door with reading
IN and Out
The system is compatible with
standard Proximity and Mag-stripe cards, as well as contactless I-CLASS
and Mifare smart cards.
Px200
Software

From a single starter unit,
the system can be expanded, by using multiple PLAN200 controllers
administered from a PC using Px200 software. This software
allows additional card holder information to be held on the PC database,
as well as providing the option for more detailed reports and history
analysis.
Enhanced security features
such as Menu access within the software is password controlled.
The 32bit Windows application
allows users with up to 32 readers (controlled by a maximum of 16
PLAN200's) to remotely administer their systems. The software
features are password controlled to restrict unauthorised operation.
Cardholders are added onto the system by simply entering Name and
Card number information, and then including an appropriate Time Profile
for each Door allowed to that person.
The software is designed for
either ad-hoc or real time usage and, as such, does not require a
dedicated P.C.
Events retrieved from the buffer
memory in the PLAN200 control units can be analysed and reports
printed.
Essentially, the software provides
a suite of editors which reflect the standalone functionality of
the PLAN200 control panel, with the added flexibility that
up to 16 panels can be edited at one time, from a single location.
